Issue 05: Food & Drink
Our second FOOD & DRINK issue is a heady cocktail that includes the mystical history of a the emerald green liqueur Chartreuse, an essay on British authors’ love of wine (including some pretty alcoholic quips from Jane Austen!), and a write-up of our favourite big-picture-thinking restauranteurs working in London today. Best of all, there’s a three-part feature on farm-to-table dining, that traces mutton from Cornwall to London. It’s our first ever investigative piece and we’re immensely proud of it.
Twelve months before, we threw together the tasty tidbits and scrumptious stories we stumbled across post-pandemic to create Issue 01. We had no idea it would take us on this mad joyride, and a year later we would be making it into supermarkets and iconic skyscrapers alike. As our 2022 end of year issue, this magazine marks many milestones.
