On the evening of Monday 16th July, Londnr Magazine was invited to attend the Young Stationers’ annual dinner. The night was one of lively conversation and camaraderie between professionals from all trades within the publishing industry, from traditional print media to archivism to eco-friendly paper-making. Surrounded by the opulent stained glass of Stationers’ Hall, the attendees celebrated the accomplishments of all shortlisted for the Young Stationers’ Prize, which is annually awarded to a professional under the age of 40 who has demonstrated marked success in their career.
Many congratulations to Dr. Shane Tilton, the 2018 winner of the Young Stationers’ Prize, for his contributions to the study and practice of multimedia journalism across the pond in Ohio. We would also like to congratulate the recipients of the Young Stationers’ Awards: freelance journalist Salma Haidrini, Callum Edwards of Prima Software, Marie Cannon of Clifford Chance, Julie Chen of The Cheeky Panda, and Londnr’s very own managing editor, Nina-Sophia Miralles.
We are very honoured to have had the opportunity to participate in the grandeur and conviviality of the Young Stationers’ annual dinner. Many thanks to Dominic Graham for hosting the night and for his work chairing the Young Stationers’ Committee, and we wish all the best to Ella Kahn, the new chairman of the Young Stationers.
