New Homes, New Places, By Kour Pour
Kour Pour sweeps over borders of land and history with his contemporary prints, erasing boundaries and trampling new ground.
Inspired by the Eastern tradition of miniatures and geometric painting, his feats are rendered on canvas, in the iconic shape of the Islamic Dome. Notice the turquoise colour, the two-dimensional portrayal of animals, the application of gold, as well as the foundation walls decorated with symmetrical forms. Everything on the image before us honours the style of his forefathers.
